Possibilities for summer job

The competence center SEDDIT (Sensor Informatics and Decision-Making for the Digital Transformation), where the divisions of Automatic control and Vehicular systems are participating, will arrange summer projects in collaboration with some of the companies participating in the center. The projects will run for six weeks during June–August, and the projects are described in the attached documents.

The participating students will be hired as amanuenser and the link to the application site is

TSRT14 in Teams

I completely forgot to say this during the lecture today. The course have a Teams Team:

Sensor Fusion (TSRT14 2024VT QT)

In it, I have created the channels “Lab 1”, “Lab 2”, and “Exercises”. I suggest using them for lab and exercise related questions, as a more interactive form of discussion than sending emails back and forth. It also allows for other students to provide feedback, enabling faster answers. I also recommend you to reach out in Teams if you are looking for a lab partner.

Welcome to the Sensor Fusion course 2024!

I give the first lecture on Monday (March 25) at 10 in Planck. At the lecture, I will give a short introduction to the course, and then go on to cover the two first chapters of the textbook. That is, I’ll give a short summary of typical sensor fusion problems and linear estimation methods.

To get an overview of the course, please take a look at the course homepage

https://isy.gitlab-pages.liu.se/rt/en/courses/TSRT14

It contains relevant information about the course, and links to most of the course material, except the text and exercise books. I will update the slides for the lectures as the course progresses. Take a look at the lab instructions and the SigSys toolbox manual if you want to get an early start, however I would recommend to not print the SigSys manual as it might change along the course.

Note, the course starts out with a mandatory data collection session (lab 1) during the second week of the course. The collected data will be used in one of the labs throughout the course. The lab-signup for these sessions opens at 10 on Monday and closes at lunch on Tuesday, a week later. The time to sign up is relatively short; hence, don’t forget to sign up. More details about the lab will be provided at the first lecture.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!

/Gustaf

The Website is currently being updated for 2024

The coure homepage is currently in the process of being updated to reflect the 2024 version of the course. The static material on the homepage is not expected to change in any significant way. Consider dates for labs and similar to be tentative until the has course started. We are also still considering to make minor adjustments of the labs work, hence wait with downloading the lab material until the course has started.
