Sensor Fusion (TSRT14)

Laboration 1:
Localization in acoustic sensor networks

A target is moving along a pre-defined but unknown track emitting a sort sound pulse twice a second, and a network with microphones detects the pulses. Your task is to localize and track the target as it moves around the track.

The lab contains one data collection part in Visionen (house B, between entrance 25 and 27, corridor C) which is performed early in the course. In the second part the collected data is processed, where many of the algorithms discussed in the course should implemented and applied to measurements. An example of collected measurements has been made available for those not attending the course, but still interested in performing the lab on their own.

Lab material:

Examination

The participants are examined with a lab report. Each lab group writes a lab report, which is then peer-reviewed by another group. After the peer-review, the group is allowed to updated its report based on the comments, before the final evaluation by the teaching assistants.
