Lab 1

In lab 1 you estimate entropies for some real world data, to give an idea of how much you could gain by doing lossless compression.

Lab 2

In lab 2 you compress the files from lab 1 using prediction followed by Huffman coding. Compare the results from actual compression to the estimated entropies from lab 1.

Scalar uniform quantization.
